Download Trailguru and capture your next run, ride, walk, hike, biking trip, or any outdoor activity using your iPhone 3G’s integrated GPS.

While you are in the midst of your activty, Trailguru displays the vital statistics of like the distance traveled, duration, pace/speed, elevation, and latitude and longitude. Trailguru also enables you to visualize it on an integrated map and easily take geotagged photos for automatic upload.

However, the real power of the app comes once you've posted your activity to the Trailguru web site (www.trailguru.com), where you are able to visualize your outing on Google Earth and Google Maps, keep track of how much you've done over time with web based reporting, and learn about other places that you can explore.

Give it a try.

NOTE: Due to the way 3rd party applications work on the iPhone, the Trailguru application must be on-screen to capture your activity. For example, if you want to listen to music, then choose a nice playlist, start it playing, and then launch and start Trailguru recording.

What's New in Version 2.1

* Active routes now shown on map.
* Current location marked on map.
* Location of photos taken shown on map.

Very poor accuracy

I've had this app for a while buy never really used it. So since we were hiking Booth Falls outside Vail yesterday and I didn't bring my real GPS, I thought I'd finally give this a real shot. The trail is 4.2 mile round trip. We were slow moving, as I had my 3-year-old with us, but it seemed okay after the first mile , which took 45 minutes. However, 15 minutes later we had now traveled 2.5 miles and had reached an elevation of 19000 feet. By the end of our journey it let me know that we traveled 8.5 miles roughly twice the actual distance, and reached an elevation of 29000 feet, which is just shy of the peak of Everest. Ummm, I don't think so.

Application stops working when you recieve a text message. This is not good when you are in the middle of a workout.

best running app ive used

so far this is the best running app ive used to date. the web site were you upload your runs allows you to manually enter an activity, even nike+ cant do that. pretty darned acurate and easy to use. is it perfect? what app is? but i wont need to use any other running app, i have found the best one for me.
